Our center provides editing and proofreading services for your books, articles, reports, agreements, manuals, catalogues, brochures etc., if you need to spare your time. Editing and proofreading are independent activities provided by native speakers/specialists who are specialized in the required field.

Editing is a revision of the text that has been translated by another translator. The translation is compared to the original (source) text, and the translated text is reviewed as a whole. The editor checks for things like word choice, clarity, conciseness, consistency, jargon, register etc.

The goal of proofreading is to clean up the text; correcting spelling, capitalization, punctuation, abbreviations, numbers mistakes and mismatching.

After editing and proofreading the text we’ll send back 2 copies of the revised text attached with necessary comments. The first copy of the proofread and edited text will comprise the highlighted corrections that will help you find the changes easily. We’ll also provide you with the second copy which will be the final and non-highlighted version of the text.

Cost for the editing service comprises the 50% of the translation cost.

Cost for proofreading comprises the 30% of the translation total cost.
