Types of interpreting services

Lazarian Dpratoon proposes also high quality interpretation services for various events such as business meetings, seminars and training sessions. We offer ad hoc, consecutive and simultaneous interpreting services.

Ad hoc interpreting is suitable for such business meetings as solicitor appointments, depositions, hospital visits, client meetings, employee interviews, phone conversations, hearings etc. This type of translation gives us an opportunity to focus our efforts on appropriate translator’s selection and on the development of special customer solutions.

Consecutive interpreting is specific for the official events, when the translation is made after each sentence or a short speech. That is why sometimes the duration of the meetings extends. This type is used at the court proceedings, small conferences, seminars, round-table discussions, trainings etc.

Simultaneous interpreting is a process that implies responsibility and basically applied during the multi-lingual meetings, where the speech is being translated with a 2-3 seconds’ delay. This type of service requires interpreters working in teams of 2 or 3 in the sound-proofed booths. Interpreters speak into a microphone and the audience having no command of the given language listen through the headphones.
